RE. DYNAMO DRIVE.
I cannot understand the above requiring such a stiff spring to control the carrier shaft; it would not be satisfactory. Make it a reasonable spring, and as I suggested, or better still let the fabric coupling control the shaft endwise. Such things must be kept simple and practical in spite of grouses from Derby and Sales.
