Description: CYLINDER HEAD GASKET (KLINGERIT .030).

Purpose: To avoid leaking trouble periodically experienced with C & A gaskets).
Brief Report and Remarks: We have run numerous engines for long periods of endurance also 13,000 miles on 8.B.V. without any trouble. This particular gasket is for the modified cylinder block and head EW.1922/3 and should be introduced at the same time.
Where we have definitely had a leak with a C & A the Klingerit has been a seal, also is approx. 6d. cheaper. Having a flat face is less liable to distortion than a ferrilled gasket also deletes the necessity of having to retighten the cylinder down after running. This must not be introduced without the modified piston.

Production Position and Comments: Cylinder Head Gasket (Klingerite .030) can be introduced without scrap at the 1st. chassis in 'D' series along with the modified cylinder block, cored to simplify casting and standardised under sheet W.20.
