Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 19th instant in which you refer to a sample servo disc to your part No. GW.2148 which you returned to us, we must apologise for the delay in answering your letter owing to the disc itself going astray. The part has now been examined and we find that it is apparently VG.91. Six replacement discs have therefore been put in hand and are at present being splined. As soon as this machining is completed they will be despatched marked for your attention. We suggest that the six discs in your possession should be destroyed by you, as we have entered a 'free of charge' order to cover the six items now being completed. With regard to the order for Ferodo BZ, RU and VG.90, brake linings, the writer did his best to improve on the delivery promise previously given to you but found that the time allowed for manufacture had already been reduced to a minimum.
