GRY{Shadwell Grylls} WST } LES To H/S x4553A Hotel de France 11/6/34 4BIV We arrived here from Boulogne last night. Our impression on the run of matters as follows. Engine. Power and acceleration were good. Detonation were very pronounced and ignition had to be retarded half way to delete them. Petrol used was Pratts No1, obtained at Folkestone. Engine gear rattle was noticeable running light with engine hot Oil pressure 10 lbs. The heat under the scuttle and from floor boards was unpleasant. Quite a lot comes through the slot for LES the lever of the chassis lubrication pump. The half cracks half period had smoothed out and was not so pronounced. There was no definite | ||
