To L.H.S.{Lord Herbert Scott - Chair} from B.J. -2- BJ7/H1.12.22 (Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}) to confer with the best coachbuilders and endeavour to produce a limousine body which will accentuate noises as little as possible? I think we certainly should immediately have one such body made with a leather-topped roof, like that used in America, even if it is only to experiment and convince our-selves from practical experience whether it is better or worse than a solid roof. The trials landaulet is certainly not nearly so noisy. This looks as if the reduction of solid roof reduces sound. Will you kindly ascertain how soon such a car could be produced and whether one of the limousines at present in hand could be immediately altered to have a leather roof fitted, for the purposes of making such tests?
