Phantom III Oil Level Indicator.

Replying to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/GR.{George Ratcliffe}2.11.36, we find that the float lever has been produced with excessive end clearance.

The sample GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} had was .078, whereas the drawing calls for not more than .050.

BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has tightened up this dimension to .025. This does not call for any alteration to design.
