For the Attention of Mr. A.F. Martindale.

Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 8th instant, we thank you for the information given in the first paragraph, concerning the Askania Catalogue.

Referring to the Synthetic Rubber Gland you use on a Shock Damper, where there is no room for metal sleeves, we suggest that you try painting the inner shaft with the solution that we are sending to you under separate cover.

To obtain the best results, it will be necessary to roughen the shaft surface in some way before applying this solution.

We have intensive experience in the production of Synthetic Rubber units and we would be glad of the opportunity of quoting you for the particular glands that you are using for this purpose.

Yours faithfully,
METALASTIK LIMITED.
