Geoffrey Smith, Esq. -2- 29.10.38. With reference to by-pass filters, our case is perhaps exceptional, and we take particular pains to clean the engine while it is being run in at the Factory by means of centrifuging a circulating oil. Having done this, we find that it is not necessary to change the by-pass element, of the best of its type, in less than 10,000 miles. Yours sincerely, P.S. Lest some of my remarks should be misconstrued, I, should like to mention that I have never met Mr. 'B', nor have I the slightest personal animosity against him. | ||
