Dear Sirs,
Attention of Mr. A.P. Martindale.
We thank you for your letter of the 24th instant and your request for us to supply pieces of our "Halo" Brake Lining in order that you may determine its non-squeak properties.
At the present time we are manufacturing several varieties of "Halo", the variations consisting of adjustments to its friction value. The type which we would suggest for your purpose is our "Halo III" which has a normal friction at temperatures up to 500° Fah. of .36 - .38. If you should consider this friction value to be suitable for your purpose we shall be pleased to put in hand the necessary material immediately.
We remain,
Yours faithfully,
For BRITISH BELTING & ASBESTOS Ltd.
