The ball bearings on the short governor shaft have been run the same length of time as roller xxxx bearings on the throttle spindle i.e. 3500 miles. As it is only proposed to fit these ball bearings on to future new cars, it is certain that well over 10,000 miles will have been covered before any of these cars are produced.
