W. Burt Esq.,

London, S.W.3.

Dear Burt,

Thank you very much for your letter of the 22nd. June. In view of the fact that the practice takes place so early I do not think I shall be able to get over for it. However I shall probably go over to the I.O.M. on either the 12th or the 14th, but shall only be able to see one of the races.

I know very little about the T.T. but should naturally like to see your car perform, if you will let me know on which day it is running.

With regard to a room, it is very kind of you to offer to obtain accommodation for me at the Castle Mona Hotel, but since my movements are somewhat uncertain, and I shall probably go over on the midnight service, it will be best for me to get fixed up as necessary when I get there.

It is unfortunate that we are so busy that I cannot enjoy these races thoroughly.

Yours sincerely,
