Radiator for 35-EX for France.

As you are aware, Sales object to the frontal appearance of the radiator yoke bracing in front of the matrix on Ph.III radiators. We therefore wish to run 35-EX in France with the diagonal bracing deleted in front of the matrix and replaced by the scheme shown on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}182 attached, which is at the rear of the matrix - the horizontal bracing strips in front and at the rear being retained.

We think, however, that the front horizontal bracing strip should be stiffened as shown on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}183 (attached). If a yoke can be built with a horizontal front strip of this type (and diagonal strips deleted at front) in time for 35-EX for France, we should like this done, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}182 scheme being fitted at the same time.

On the other hand, if the above is impracticable in the time available, we wish you to remove the diagonal front strips from a standard yoke, & fit this yoke in conjunction with rear stays to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}182 to 35-EX.
