PETROL FILTERS. X53
X3701

Recently we have been recommended a chamois leather type of filter. We have taken the matter up with one of the largest makers of this type of filter and they point out that chamois leather is only satisfactory when used with pure petrol. If Benzol is used, this rots the chamois leather. Therefore for general purposes they recommend a gauze.

As we have no wish to prevent our customers using benzol, we think that the chamois leather filter can be considered unsatisfactory.

We are trying a filter which is made up with the 'edge' filtration system to see whether it is more efficient than standard.
