To BP. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X53 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG30.12.26. USE OF BENZOL ON PHANTOM CARS. With reference to the attached letter from Messrs. Cockshoot & Co. of the 21st.inst. There is no reason why pure Benzol cannot be used on a Phantom engine. When this is done, in order to maintain the same petrol level, the carburetter float should be increased in weight 8 grams. Messrs. Cockshoot might be able to do this themselves, or the Works could supply them with a special weighted float to be used with Benzol. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
