12677 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}18/KW. 4th September, 1934. The S.U. Co. Ltd., East Works, Bordesley Green Road, Adderley Park, BIRMINGHAM 8. For attention of Mr. Kent. Dear Sirs, Bentley Petrol Pumps. -------------------- With reference to our conversation of this morning re the above, we are despatching to you to-day under separate cover two pump units, one of which is very noisy, the other we are forwarding as a comparison. The noise created by the unit certainly gives one the impression that the armature strikes the core. We have not however disturbed the setting of this pump as we think it best for you to have it back in the condition supplied. Can you please let us know the number of modified pumps supplied to date. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
