BENTLEY OUTPUT.

We shall be unable to complete this week's output due to the fact that we have no petrol pumps from the S.U. Co.

We made enquiries this morning and we understand that these people will be unable to despatch the next 7 until to-morrow Thursday and they will follow on with 15 more on Friday afternoon.

I am fully aware of the troubles which have been experienced by the S.U. Co. in the production of this unit, but I think they have had sufficient time to let us have adequate supplies. In addition to our normal output of 13 1/2 per week we are of course, requiring considerable quantities to deal with the chassis already despatched from the Works, which as you are aware have all to be changed over as far as the pumps are concerned.

This memo. will also reply to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}11/HR29.8.34. saying that all the Depots are held up for these pumps for changeover purposes, and that 'C' has been writing specially in regard to this matter.
