RE. HALO BRAKE MATERIAL.

With reference to your Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/MG28.12.23 and letter attached from the Scandinavia Belting Co. dated Dec. 27th. We notice that they agree that the Halo Brake material loses its co-efficient with temperature. The fact that this defect has not been mentioned by Messrs. Bentley Motors is not of any great interest to us considering that they admit the fault exists.

As regards the method of overcoming this fault, we must leave it entirely in their hands - if they think they can overcome it with brass wire, we are prepared to re-test the material.
