'HALO' BRAKE LINING.

We should like you to take up with the makers of this brake lining and point out to them that we find the co-efficient of friction is reduced very considerably after the brakes have been on for some time and become hot - it becomes so bad that the brakes are dangerously ineffective.
Apart from this, we are very pleased with this material but we are afraid that we could never consider using this as standard whilst it has this fault.
