Dear Sirs,

" APEX" PRIMING & COMPRESSION VALVE.

No matter how perfectly equipped a modern Motor Car may be it is always possible that there is room for improvement in some detail.

One of the fittings very generally employed on the internal combustion engine is a compression tap of the plug type and in practise this leaves much to be desired. The plug and barrel give a long bearing surface, which is apt to become gummed or baked fast and the short, slender levers provided for operating the cook break if under these conditions almost invariably. On the other hand, if the plug is adjusted to an easy fit in the barrel, so that it can be operated, a compression leakage occurs, which is very noticeable on many cars one sees on the road and which is detrimental to efficiency.

The " Apex " Valve, of which a circular is enclosed, overcomes this difficulty, as well as others, which are mentioned in the circular, and, as a detail improvement which costs little or nothing extra, is worth consideration on your part.

The wholesale price of the " APEX " Valve is :-

for quantities less than 2 dozen - - 2/3 each nett.

" 2 dozen and upwards - - - - - - - 2/- " "

for cash during the month following delivery.

I venture to suggest that you make a trial of say 2 dozen of these Valves and allow your decision as to the regular employment of this fitting depend upon the result of the trial.

The Valves are in stock in two sizes of screwing, viz 1/8" and 1/4" Whitworth gas thread, and can be forwarded on receipt of order.

Hoping to be favoured with a trial order.

I am,

Yours faithfully,

W. Edward Storey
