BY15/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 30.8.26.

In view of the fact that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is not of the opinion that the changeover from cast iron to aluminium on the induction pipes and carburetter justifies even £51. of scrap, we have decided to use up all the castings we have in stock, and to bring in the changeover on C.2.b. instead of C.2.a.

Will the D.O. kindly modify their instructions to this effect, which will continue to use all the old carburettors up to the end of the first 100 of C.2. Series, that is, C.2.a, and Tool Dept. should note that we agree it will be necessary for new jigs to be made in connection with a number of the parts on the carburetter body.
