EAC.7 WIRING DIAGRAM.

In answer to your HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/HEB{H. Biraben}/2/M.7.26, and with reference to Wiring Diagram - F.65192, there are one or two points about this -

(1) We think that the switch which has been labelled the "Main circuit switch" should be designated the "Pinione operated switch". It is not the main circuit switch; its full name is really the "motor pinion operated main switch operating circuit switch." The main circuit is the black circuit and this contains the electro-magnetically operated main switch.

Will HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/RD. please note that we think it would be much better to call this the "pinion operated switch."

(2) Should not the earthing connection of the hold-on coil of the relay switch unit be indicated on the diagram, and also the earthing connection of the pinion operated switch?

(3) The magnitudes of the currents indicated on the diagram are subject to revision. As we have this matter in hand at the present, we shall very shortly be able to let you have the revised values of the currents in the various branches.

We return print herewith.
