To BY/HEB.{H. Biraben} from EFC. X7560 EFC2/T6.7.26. SILENT STARTER - SUPPLY OF CURRENT TO PUSH BUTTON SWITCH. X.7560. We have decided that the supply to the push button switch is not to be taken through the ammeter, and that therefore the wire feeding the push button switch should either come from terminal No.8 on the distribution board or from the ammeter terminal to which terminal 8 on the distribution board is connected, whichever is more convenient. The current feeding the starting system via the push button switch will then come through the main battery fuse, but will not be indicated on the ammeter. This is necessary as this starting current will slightly exceed 20 amperes, not to mention any other currents that may be already indicated on the ammeter at the time of operating the switch. I should be glad if you will instruct accordingly. EFC. | ||
