We have recently been running a bumping test on the 20 HP. with drilled and grooved road springs. We were rather apprehensive that the 20 HP. front springs, which have always been notoriously short lived on the bump test, might have their failure accentuated by being drilled and grooved. We have, however, on these springs, obtained an average life of over 40 hours (piece No.F55324) which is very much better than anything we have previously obtained. The test was of course run with hydraulic shock absorb-ers, which we know play an important part in increasing spring life. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
