RE STABRITE STEEL With reference to the Stabrite Tubing supplied by the Chesterfield Tube Co., for New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Exhaust Pipes. We find it impossible to use this Tubing owing to the varying sections. The difference in sections being 20 SWG (.035 thick) to 13 SWG (.095 thick). This material will Solder, Braze and Weld but for bending it is advisable to work in a cold state as when heated up it becomes very hard. We are sending along for your inspection sample sections of tubing. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} | ||
