BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X. 3806 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M11.5.28. CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION. Herewith we send Ns.{Norman Scott} ch. 2599, shewing the simplified arrangement of piping on the pedals, front brake differential, and clutch operating shaft, now that it is intended to take the pipingoff the engine. It is intended that the clutch thrust race should be made oil retaining for a long period, and also the fan and the only point on the engine it is proposed to lubricate is the water pump bearing.
