x261 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/KW12.1.34. 23-AE. ------- We have decided to fit C.10 unit for testing the large balance weights to this chassis. For the purpose of this test the crankshaft spring drive damping load should be 40-50 lbs. at 17 3/4". We think this can be obtained by using springs GB.534, in conjunction with Ferobestos washers. Y-4-BB UNIT. ----------- While this unit is out of the chassis, will you please fit a camshaft to 1E. for slow running tests. C.10 unit will only be in the chassis a few days.
