For the attention of Mr. Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

The six Oil Coolers which you supervised being oil tested, successfully passed the cold water test. They were held under water at 200 lbs./sq.ins. for five minutes.

Three of the coolers returned were tested and one failed in the oil test (a surface leak). The other two were then water tested as above. These two have a tally attached A.1 and A.2.

There are therefore eight fully tested, but not machined nor with grids attached.

Four coolers after machining were gauged and brought to within 2 thousand limits. Tested at 200 lbs - all passed. Two required regauging (not more than 2 thousand distortion). Other two remained undistorted.

Yours faithfully,

For JOHN MARSTON, Limited,

P.A.H. Yeats
