Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

16th. November 1937.

For the attention of Mr.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to the writer's telephone conversation with Mr. Dunn on Monday and Mr. Dunn's conversation with Mr.Wallace to-day, we would like you to confirm in writing the delivery of reconditioned Mk.V matrices and oil coolers which you can definitely promise us.

The minimum figures which we require are -

Mk.V matrices - 6 - 7 per week.
Oil coolers - 30 per week.

We would like to hear from you on this subject with a minimum of delay.

We are awaiting with interest the test figures which we discussed on Monday. We are still modifying our car heater scheme to include defrosting equipment and as soon as it is ready, will forward it for you to make up a sample.

We believe a dipped oil cooler No. 481 which has failed in service has been returned to you. Will you please examine same and let us have a report on the position, nature and cause of the failure - unfortunately it was sent back to you before the writer could examine it himself.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
