Attached is correspondence in connection
with Mr. Fedden's Bentley car.

You will see it is now agreed that he will
have the cycle type wings removed, which will clean up
his worst complaints of brake squeaks and wheel wobble.

The list of complaints which he handed to
me when I went to see him recently is attached.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has agreed that we shall fit the
bumper bar.

With regard to the noisy engine, the tappets
are certainly noisy and can now be set at the reduced
clearance which is now standardised. You will probably
be able to say whether the timing gears etc. are up to
your standard.

With regard to the front brakes, now that he
is having the cycle type wings removed, will you revert to
the standard lining. It would appear to be policy to fit
the latest type water excluders.

The click in the transmission sounds like the
thrust race. Will you please investigate this.

The latest voltage regulator should kill the
trouble with the dynamo.

With regard to the instruments, we are trying
to get Smiths to supply a set of the latest lightened
type which have improved figures.

Attached is copy of a letter I have written
to Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} asking him to deal with the body side of the job,
we should be glad if you would keep in touch with him, and
between you settle when the car is to come to Derby. We do
not wish to have the car in the Experimental Dept. unless
some special point arises, as we are very fully occupied
with other jobs at the moment.
