With regard to the body work, I presume this will take some time, at least ten days or a fortnight, as new pillars will have to be fitted. You say that your work will take about five days, therefore I presume we must allow three weeks.

I am in your hands as to when you would like me to send the car up, and, personally, when I do send it away, I should like everything, chassis and body work, finished at one fell swoop, and then have the car returned to me, as apparently my most serious chassis defects are due to the stream line mudguards, which, as you say, it is unfortunate I had fitted. My only reason for going to stream line mudguards was because from the "drag" point of view, I gathered that ordinary mudguards "washed out" all the good of the stream line form of the body.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

A.{Mr Adams} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Fedden.
