-4- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}4/KW.20.12.34. Steering. Light and generally good. No kicks on steering wheel, fairly selective, a little spongy, worst feature is inclination to over-steer when taking bends or corners fast. Springing. Generally good, rear springing requires more damping, but front springing is very good. Front of car, radiator lamps and wings very steady. One enjoys a pleasant ride in the driving seat, but is bumped about a little too much in the rear seats. Body. Entirely free from any rattles or squeaks of any description. Brakes. Very good for this class of car. Summary. A very nice car, spoilt by exhaust booms and induction roar. Car could be still further improved if timing gears and fan were quietened, and a little more attention given to rear springing. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.H.Whyman. | ||
