The Pressed Steel Co. of Great Britain Ltd.
Cowley,
Oxford.

For the attention of Mr. L. Shuttleworth.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 30th ult.
It is true that we had a most interesting discussion with the Budd Manufacturing Co. at Detroit and they showed us various samples of the brake drums they were making. We had arranged to call back at the Budd Co. before leaving America and discuss the chance of getting the drums we require made in England, but we were so pressed for time that we were unable to carry out our intentions.

We are sending direct to Mr. Cleksergion the chief engineer of the Budd Corporation a drawing of a drum as we promised him and shall hope to have suggestions for centrifugally casting it.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
