To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} 1020 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}7/AP.23.8.37

With reference to your memo Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/FS.{F. Steele}5.19.8.37, regarding the metallingof 24.Ph.III. connecting rod bearing halves in 'Cadmium' nickel alloy as carried out by the Magnolia Anti-Friction Metal Co.,these are being tested by us and the invoice can accordingly be passed for payment.

Their total charge of £21. 15. 0. does, however, appear to us to be rather excessive for the actual work involved.
