For the attention of Mr.Whitehead.

Dear Sirs,

Answering your letter of 16th December, we are quite prepared to send along a single 2 volt cell, but would very much prefer to send you on loan a 12 volt battery as now on sale, so that you can make practical tests and experiments with the same on a car.

We express this desire because the claims we make are very revolutionary, and we would like a firm of your importance to test the same in actual practice on a car, and of course you can make any Laboratory tests you wish.

In order to secure the results we claim, and in your interests as well as our own, the only thing we ask is that the test car is fitted with a 12 volt 12 amp Dynamo, and that it is arranged to give 10 amps at low speeds, a basis of charge which is higher than is usually employed in motor battery work.

If you agree to this proposition we will have a battery sent to you next week, and you can keep it for testing purposes as long as you wish, or if you prefer to send one of your cars to the Tungstone High Pressure Die Casting Co.Ltd., Market Harborough, they will fit the battery to the car.

Yours faithfully,

For TUNGSTONE ACCUMULATOR CO LTD.
Per pro W.H.
