Mr Johnson. Mr Royce. DAILY REPORT. Frame Tests. - The see-saw test has now been worked for one week, nothing has happened and by the look of it nothing will. The front horns do twist but most of it takes place in the top leaf of the spring, one can see that the leaf twists more at the rear end where it is fixed to a stiff portion of the frame, than it does at the front where the horn twists as well. If Mr Royce is agreeable we should like to give up this so that we can use the car for one of the other tests. Steering Wobbles. - I have tested and found that the lean of the pivots does affect the low speed wobbles, when the pivots are back it is worse. The car I tried would only wobble over pot-holes or a bad road. I am trying to make it so that it will keep on as I have been on cars that would do so. X457 | ||
