Messrs Humber Ltd.,
COVENTRY

Dear Mr.Hughes,

When you were here the other day, you were kind enough to say that you would be willing to demonstrate the degree of silence obtainable on your large Humber cars with un-ground gearbox gears.

I should like to take advantage of this offer and could come over to Coventry the middle of next week, if this would suit you. Would you be able to take me out on two or three cars so as to get an average value for the quietness of the gears.?

Yours sincerely,
