W/S - Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} a.{Mr Adams} to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to C. c. to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X360 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW.31.12.35. 35-EX. We are in receipt of Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KW 30.12.35. If the car is as difficult to start as you say, it ought to be examined and Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} has arranged for Archer to have a look at it. Your criticisms of the car are very much in line with our own; we have not altered the instrument board lighting. With regard to 34-EX, we should like Park Wards to do the body insulation job before the car comes here. We are relying on you to ensure that they put every effort into this job as the car is urgently required. We are aiming to have the red car ready for demonstration of tyre noise again at the end of next week. In the meantime we are bringing it up to date with regard to pistons, etc. We shall be glad if you will let us know when we can expect 34-EX from Park Wards.
