| To JH. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Fm. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} E.8/HP.30.3.35. re Mr Minchin's Bentley. I have spoken to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} about Minchin's Bentley, and Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is agreeable that we shall carry out the modifications for noise insulation on this car at firm's cost. The chassis is at Mulliners and the framework of the body has been completed. This will be a fabric body and it will be very interesting to see what result we get from it in combination with our "noise-hush" schemes. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Fm. is making arrangements to instruct the modified pieces necessary for the conversion. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
