Dear Mr. Robotham, The road-test of the Mark V and your article describing it duly appeared in the February issue of MOTOR SPORT, which City Road should now have sent you. I notice an article, which I suspect is your work, in "The Autocar" describing E.R. Hall's Bentleys; I am kicking myself Left Page: be made in the motor-cycling Press. If a testimonial letter based on this run would be of use for advertising purposes I will let you have one willingly. It occurs to me that if one just used the Mk V for an afternoon and evening near London giving "Free Lifts" and recording the remarks of those so favoured on the car's manner of going, an amusing article could result. If the idea appeals I would be prepared to try it. Congratulations on a remarkable car. Yours truly, W. Boddy, Acting Editor, MOTOR SPORT. | ||
