(a) X or nominee of such (b). Licence can be used for test or trial, proceeding to Weybridge, weigh or for registration, or delivering to purchaser, or delivering to another manufacturer or repairer or body builder, towing in a vehicle for repair, taking to Railway Station for despatch, provided not more than two persons in addition to the driver are carried on the vehicle. Such persons being an employee or prospective purchaser* for whom a test is being made but only the driver shall be carried on Sundays, Bank Holidays, Xmas Day, Good Friday, or other public holiday. No goods or load whatsoever except such load as is necessary for testing the vehicle shall be carried and such load shall be ordinary ballast such as sand gravel scrap iron or the like and no purpose other than that of testing shall be served by it, and it shall be brought back to its place of loading. An entry must be made in a log book and a duplicate of the entry on a special form must be carried by the driver and produced on demand by a police or taxation officer.
