Re Coronation Vibrations.

The damping rings mounted inside the foot brake drum have been schemed out and will be issued to-day (Feb. 21st.)

The details of the combined spring and friction engine coupling were issued on February 20th.

Mr Bailey has not yet been able to scheme out the brake drum which is mounted in such a way between jaws which will give a positive drive with damping effect by friction, but will do so as soon as possible.

I will make out a specification and apply for protection for the combined spring and friction damped coupling as soon as possible.

With reference to the second paragraph on sheet N19/B5212, we shall be glad if you will confirm the following way of putting this theory, in order that we may be quite clear on this point.

[Handwritten on diagram] plane of Centre of mass neglecting mass A.{Mr Adams}
