"Improvements in jacket cooling do not appear to be of marked "importance except in so far as they tend to prevent depreciation and "eliminate hot spots in the cylinder and combustion chamber. As shown in "Table II (Part B), lowering the cooling water outlet temperature from "212 to 100°F increased the fuel rating only two octane numbers and the "power output 2%." I will let you have this paper when I next see you, which I hope will be soon. Please let me know when you start your type test on the 87 Octane Ethyl fuel.
