| 1487. EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTC.11/JH. 30th. November, 1938. The S.U. Carburetter Co.Ltd., Adderley Park, BIRMINGHAM.8. For the attention of Mr. Cooper. Dear Sirs, Will you please supply - 2 pairs of H.4. carburetters to specification No. 403 (dated 4.7.38) to include modifications up to and including the abridged specification, dated 12.11.38. Please note also that two 199 stops are included in the specification (loose), these for some reason have not been supplied with the carburetters recently. These stops to be complete with adjusting screw and spring. Will you also please supply - 2 pairs of H.4. carburetters having your standard finish and fitted with the mixture control ( No. thermo float chamber). Will you also please supply the following parts loose 1/2 doz. control paws (connecting mix. controls) 1 " flexible couplings (connecting throttles) of various lengths. 6 needles to be marked B.3.D. 6 needles to be marked B.3.E.
