Lidsey}2/MA. 20.7.32. PHANTOM II BODIES. The body on 22-EX which is of course one of the original Phantom II cars has got into a very bad condition. It has done a big mileage including one or two French Tests, and we do not think it worth while spending a lot of money on it to make it look presentable. We think it would cost quite £150 to do it up and even then it would still be old fashioned. As an alternative it is suggested that there might be in London a stock body which would be suitable for the car and which might be obtainable at a reasonable figure. 22-EX is a long type chassis with 'C' type steering. We should be glad to hear your views on the subject. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
