RE. FAULTY EXIDE BATTERIES.
========================

We give below a full detailed list of the faulty Exide Batteries which were inspected by Mr. McKinnon, (the Chloride Co's., representative,) EFC. and ourselves on the 24th instant.

Will Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} kindly issue as quickly as possible the necessary labels releasing these batteries from Mr. Chatwin's stores to the maker's.

6 - Test Dept. 12 volt - Batteries } 3 new batteries to be
3 - Test Dept. 2 volt - Cells } supplied as replace-ments, i.e. 50% allowance.

Ex. Chassis 68-CW - 5 - 2 volt Cells.
The Chloride Co. are charging us for the renovation of these cells.
Will BP. please note.

Ex. Chassis 38-PC - 1 - 12 volt Battery.
The Chloride Co. are charging us for the repairs to this battery. Order No. 6443 has been issued to cover these charges.

Ex. Chassis 122-EE - 2 - 12 volt Exide Batteries.

Both these batteries have been removed from the Cars while in our Department for attention. The Chloride Co. are supplying us with 1 new battery for the above two, i.e. 50% allowance.

Ex. Chassis 57-GE - 3 - 12 volt Exide Batteries.
" 66-AE - In each of these cases the Chloride
" 4-RE - Co. are replacing free-of-charge.
