| To EJJ. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 6142 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.9/AP.26.1.37. EXPERIMENTAL DYNAMO TEST RIG. We have a Delco dynamo which we wish to test, but which we cannot fit on our rig, owing to the diameter of the carcase of the machine being different from either of our standards. This machine is about 5 1/16" in diameter, whereas our standard are 5" and 5¼". It seems therefore, that some packing is required and the machine carefully aligned before we are able to run it at high speeds. Will you please arrange for this to be done.
