Re: Raymond Mays, Esq.

It has been arranged to supply the above customer with a new standard Saloon car, the chassis number of which will be B.156.MR.

There were a number of special features fitted on this customer's previous chassis B.144.LS, and Sales wish to know if we would suggest repeating any or all of those on the new chassis.

We give below a list of the special features provided, and shall be pleased to receive your recommendations:-

1. High Compression Cylinder Head+special thin gasket.
2. Wheels primed for silver cellulosing.
3. Thermoid clutch facings.
4. 17" Wheels & tyres to suit.
5. Mellotone Horns.
6. Brake drums and servo ex B.24.GA.
7. Ferodo B.2 Brake Linings.
8. Brake drums primed for cellulosing.

After B.144.LS was despatched from Works we supplied to 'K' Department a pair of Lucas High Frequency Horns in addition to the Mellotone Horns fitted at Works.

Later RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}336 Brake Drums were supplied by the Experimental Department and sent to 'K' for fitting.

You will, no doubt, at the same time let us have your suggestions regarding these two items.

It occurs to us that some of the above-mentioned items may now be standard on this later series chassis.
