E.R. Hall, Esq.,

London, N.W.1.

Dear Hall,

The India Tyre Company have been raising the question of tyres for any competition work in which the Bentley may indulge in the coming season.

As you know, India tyres have given us every satisfaction on production. On the other hand, as you pointed out the last time I mentioned the matter to you, the production of a racing tyre requires special technique. From our point of view, if the India Tyre Company could convince you that their products were as good as Dunlops we should be quite agreeable to your using them. For the time being therefore we have referred them to you, and Lord Rothes, who is their technical representative, will be getting in touch with you in the immediate future.

Yours sincerely,
