To [strikethrough] from RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y44691 RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}10/BE20.12.29. RE: NITRO-ALLOY PARTS. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, has handed to me BY22/N19.12.29. and we note that you mention the "F" type cylinder liners were instructed 12.10.28. We now learn that these liners were delivered 12 months ago, but no instructions have been issued to the Experimental Dept. to proceed with them, in fact it was only when Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, mentioned the matter to me, that we knew it was intended to proceed with nitro-alloy cylinder liners. These forgings have been held up in the Stores awaiting D.O. instructions, and up to the time of writing, no instructions have been received. All other parts mentioned on your list, are in hand - some fitted. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} [Signature] | ||
