LID {A. J. Lidsey} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X6055' BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /EM14/J.23.7.31. Lead Paint for Protecting Steel. Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has drawn our attention to the fact that it is possible to obtain a lead paint which is made up of pure lead in suspension. The material Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} brought to our notice is known as "Nust" and we have obtained a sample which we are handing to you herewith. At the same time the Walpamur are also marking a similar material known as "Arcanol". It is suggested that these materials might be tried out for protecting the battery box and fittings as it would be a considerable economy if we could avoid having to send these parts away for lead coating as at present. Sft {Mr Swift} has a gallon of "Arcanol". BY EM [signature] | ||
